EMDR Therapy
- Is unresolved trauma keeping you stuck?
- Do you frequently feel triggered and overwhelmed by anxiety, anger, or despair?
- Do you keep recreating unhealthy patterns in relationships?
Maybe you’ve tried talk therapy, listened to self-help podcasts, learned everything you can about mental health. But more knowledge hasn’t brought the relief you hoped.
EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, works differently than other therapies. It’s based on the finding that traumatic memories are stored differently than regular memories.
EMDR is an evidenced-based treatment for trauma that has more than 30 years of research behind it. It’s an integrated somatic approach that helps you make sense of images, thoughts, feelings and body sensations that are associated with trauma. EMDR allows you to find relief from traumatic symptoms and gain freedom from old stories that affect your self-esteem and sense of safety and control.
